Why does the price of a Puppy differ from one to another?
The price of your puppy is reflected by the breed, color, sex, registration and if they have show potential.
How long have you been breeding?
Our kennel is a family owned business, there for we have been breeding for over 40 years!
Do you ship your puppies?
We do ship our puppies, but we do charge extra for shipping. Shipping is an extra $350, We do try our best to not have to fly the puppy so if we can we will hand delver the puppy to you, but that just depends on what all we have going on around the kennel, we do still change the same $250 fee to deliver the puppy to you.
Do your puppies get shots and de wormers?
Yes! All puppies have shots and de wormers before they leave. They even come with a Record so you can see exactly when!
Do you clip dew claws and dock tails?
Yes most of the time we do clip dew claws and the tails of the breeds that require it, if for some reason you do not want your puppy to have that done to them then you would need to pick the puppy you want at birth.
Why choose pampered puppies for your puppy?
Well what we offer is love, security and passion it takes to raise a quality puppy. We make sure our puppies see children, dogs, water, and lots of people so they become well socialized. Your puppy will recognize you as we let you come once a week to play with them!
Why do you ask for my address on your contract?
We like to keep track of where all of our puppies go and we are required to. Also, we also have a annual reunion for all of our puppies that we have sold that you will be invited to and we might need to mail you your invite to it.
Is there any way that I can see the puppy online?
Yes, For most of our litters we put a live web cam on the puppies when they start to move and play, so you can watch them grow online and watch your puppy from anywhere.
What if I have an issue with my puppy when I get it home?
We are here for you if you have any issue at all with your puppy, you can email or call us any time you have a question or concerns with your puppy, We are busy a lot with the kennel so the best form of contact is email.
What do I feed the dog when I get it home?
We start our puppies out with Kirkland puppy food, we will send you with a small bag of the current food they are on and then when you get them home you can switch them to any food that you would like, what we recommend for the change of food is to mix the bag we send with you with the food you want to go to so it will be easier on their digestive system.
When we got our puppy home it would not eat, what do I do?
Sometimes the stress of moving to a new environment will cause a puppy to not eat until he/she feels conformable in the new environment. There is a compound that you can get to feed them in this case it is a jell that you put on the roof of their mouth, but something we have done in the past that seems to work also is to give them a small amount of peanut butter a couple times a day until they start to eat, but do not let this go on for more than a couple days and always make sure they are drinking. The reason behind this stress is the reason we send them home with a food/water dish that they recognize and a part of a blanket that their litter has been on, It will help them adjust. While a vet would be the best for this we do have years of breeding experience and things that we have done over the years that have worked for us. Keep in mind that these are not recommend on cats or any other animal.
My dog got fleas what do you recommend to use to keep them away?
While a vet and prescribe you medication for this there are a number of lower cost home remedies that you can use. One thing that works great is during the summer months put a splash of vinegar in your dog’s water dish and a sprinkle of garlic on their food. Vinegar and garlic will naturally repel fleas. A homemade spray that you can use after each bath and even directly spray on the dog if you see them on them can be made by boiling water then put a lemon slice in the water remove it from heat and let it set overnight then take the water and put in a spray bottle to spray on the dog. While a vet would be the best for this we do have years of breeding experience and things that we have done over the years that have worked for us. Keep in mind that these are not recommend on cats or any other animal.
Why are your deposits non-refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable because we stop advertising for puppies with deposits holding them. The pet is being held especially for you. If it is decided that the puppy is no longer wanted, more time and money must be spent in finding it a home. As puppies get older, it is harder to sell them. People want to bond with their animals at a young age. The older the puppy, the longer it takes to find an owner. This is expensive as well as time-consuming.
